Whichever of y’all is helping your uncle at the doc’s/hospital’s gotta’ be assertive and do whatever it takes to keep up his O2, as not doing so could help him keep going downhill fast. I just had a close relative suddenly die and low oxygen contributed to everything colliding together to go down incredibly fast….and he was 30 years younger than your Uncle.
Long haul COVID with 4+ months respiratory problems refusing to heal, to low oxygen levels staying an issue, to double pneumonia to sudden cardiac event and gone…..48 hrs, post pneumonia diagnosis; never had added oxygen nor hospitalized. Today’s healthcare includes assertive interventions and care between family and docs.
