I think the group builds are educational and productive.
Bring another one on!

I've let this go on a bit...on both sub-forums. Here's my stance on this (& future) builds. I hope we can come to some sort of agreement.
In the past, we have run builds with various ways for the "winner" to pay. One way was a raffle, in which everyone contributing an equal amount for a number (usually 1-100) pick and a slight discount if they wanted a small bundle/batch of numbers. "THIS" way, I have "NEVER" been 100% paid and have said nothing because we always covered the "cost" of the knife. "THIS" way I will not do again!
We have also offered number choices for "ZERO" monies up front, with the winner to pay all charges. "THIS" way has worked, with a couple of exceptions (meaning the "winner" changed his/her mind) and I would be in favor of "THIS" way.
If I didn't enjoy running ram-rod on these builds, I would not have fostered many..."MANY" of them!
...Just Sayin'...Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris

Top Dog, I believe you are right about getting as much as you can when you can! Very good point, sir.

Any way to resurrect the Model 10 with fishing plyers kit setup? I think that would be a popular item, but use NASA green or orange scales instead of aluminum.

I think you're right Bro..."&"...Pappy: No way on absolutely "anything" involving sheaths that are not standard. That whole crew is battling Covid, leather shortages, etc., etc...."PLUS" Greg is, basically, not there much anymore. For all of the above...it's an absolute "NO"!
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris
PS: I will see if a build is doable, sometime after Tulsa. In the meantime, let's officially nix this thread...CCS
