Had one a few years ago in central Ohio, during rush hour.

It was blowing from the north-northwest. Blew tractor-trailers over on the interstate no problem

A stretch of power lines on wood poles blew over onto a north-south road filled with people after work. People trapped in their cars with live wires, one man killed.

They made sure to replace the line using concrete poles.
