Here are some desk knives recently completed by Tony with sheaths I made for each one.

The first on the left has a shorter and wider stag handle. The ebony one will be pocket carried so I made the sheath a bit smaller than for the stag knife on the right. (Yea Whiteman, the one on the right is yours) The second image colors are messed up but you get the idea. They all look better up close and personal.

This one now has a new home. No desk should go without one. Thanks Tony and Kerry for the very fine work!!

Looks good Randy. I'm sure you'll enjoy the knife and sheath for years and you're welcome.

Looks very nice, the second picture has better
colour rendition it seems,
My wife said hey, that's our table cloth! lol

I'd be overly careful on how you pocket carry though
as they are quite sharp and pointy rascals, short story
I use to make knives, long long ago, had a chiseledged
tanto, smallish with cord wrap, chiseledge knives are
rather sharp as some of you may know. Well I didn't have
a sheath at hand to tote it around, grabbed one that
sort of fit to slip it into my right front pocket, so I could
show it off to work that day.
Well, I knelt down to get some folders from a cabinet at
work and as I brought my right arm back towards me, resting
on my right leg, I found I couldn't lift my arm up!
I had to move my arm forward about an inch or so as my knife
had slid through the leather and pants, exposing a very sharp
point that also slid into my arm! no pain, didn't even feel
it, infact I couldn't figure out at first why my arm was stuck!

So I had to move my arm forward to un hitch myself, then the blood
came, not a ton of it, but it made several ladies almost faint.
I of course was pleased the knife was as sharp as it was,
yes, I'm quite bright but I learned a valuable lesson
regarding pocket carry of fixed blade knives, be VERY careful
as your hip can press against the handle and push the knife
pretty easy!
Now, carrying in your coat or inside of a jacket shouldn't
pose a problem though.

I guess you got the point, so to speak

Thanks for the personal illustration there Gary. I think Tony will read this but I will pass this along to him so he can remind the recipient to be careful. These babies are SHARP aren't they.

hehe, yes indeed, got the very point, just glad it didn't
slice into my leg instead, could have been a LOT worse!
