The stag has been in my pocket a few times, in a leather pouch, but I haven't cut anything with it yet. The wharnie on the other one is begging to be used.

I can see how domed pins wouldn’t have worked as well with the mammoth since those are flush, and the whole thing is very smooth, but is the decision to use domed pins the rest of the time arbitrary? Are they harder to put on?
