Ox Forge black knives are great! I hope I get a couple someday. They are quite difficult to obtain at the moment

I've recently reconsidered my stance on serrators; I've simply encountered some really bad ones, or ones that weren't suitable for my needs. I recently picked up a Puma White Hunter again; it's a nice serrator, it cuts very well and doesn't get stuck in fibrous materials like modern serrators on tactical knives. I think the optimal shape is even semicircles with a diameter of 2-3 mm, so that they can be easily sharpened with round sharpening stones or diamond rods of common diameters. My Victorinox Paring Knife has the same sharpening. It's foldable, just like the one in the photo, only the handle is black

The day before or yesterday, I was sharpening a bunch of knives and noticed that the Dozier's blade was a bit loose. I took it apart and tightened it. I saw a pretty interesting solution for adjusting the blade's degree of freedom and locking it in place. The video initially just showed ducks in a local park

Here's the photo itself. It features a very robust pivot assembly, no weaker than a Strider or a Hinderer. The blade pivot has a through thread. A screw is threaded into one end, which compresses the two halves of the knife. A short, headless screw is threaded into the other end of the hole, holding the first screw in place. I assume no threadlocker is required with this system, although it could be used. On all-metal versions, this small right screw is hidden behind the clip
