I have received knives in both levels of sharpening and in 30+ purchases have only sent one knife back for a better edge to be put on it. That knife was a Model #16 Special Fighter and the Shop and Tom Clinton took care of it for me.

I guess after, that Tom Clinton made sure that the knives I received from him had a nice edge on them. May He rest in Peace.
I have purchased previously owned knives from other members and have learned over the years slowly how to get the edge that I need for a specific task now. Most of my stuff is "USER" type knives. I will never have the skills of the Shop Employees but I am getting by. So one knife out of many to me says most knives are more than acceptable.
