I gotta be frank here, I didn't realize there were concerns about "knife rights", or anything along those lines. I didn't realize there are apparently more than a few areas in the USA that actually have ownership restrictions. Who woulda thunk anyone in the land of the free and home of the brave, would actually care .

It doesn't surprise me that restrictions are there to generate revenue.

That is what sucks about government. They rarely look at ways to cut costs (changing somewhat with Trump) but only look for sources of new revenue.
