This is the rebirth of the Platts pattern that was last made between 1900 and 1905. The old ones are extremely rare and quite valuable.
The blades in this knife are D-2, main blade has double pulls. Notice that the long pull extends thru to the end of the tang. 410 SS bolsters and liners. SS pinned shield. Red Jigged bone scales.
THe blades occupy the same space and share one back spring. Because of this and the fact that the blades are different thicknesses, this knife requires the use of "catch bits"(spacers added to liners). You can see them in the third image at the top-left and bottom-right near the blade joints.
