I am finally breaking down to post photos of this knife that I was recently fortunate enough to acquire. I have held out because I really didn't want to feel as if I was torturing anyone else but myself with this. One of our esteemed conrads here at KTF has provided the necessary influence (you know who you are )....

This piece is part of the "do not part with" section of "The Black Pad"

I had them both...then sold to get something else. I have only seen a few that were Swedge'less. Here is a (not so good) pic of the other one...I hope you can get.

The swedge makes a huge difference to me. Here is a blade in A-2, from a BP, that shows the swedge..

I asked Reese to Swedge that set...he would not. Nail Nick was up too far...Oh well...

Beautiful stag on that! I'm glad that isn't up on your site or I'd be going into debt for that one

Wow! And Nuge you're right. The swedge is the bomb and makes the blade on that knife. Funny how a tiny and seemingly insignificant feature can make such a difference. I tell ya, unless you try grinding them you'll never look at a swedge the same as someone who has. I know you know what I'm talking about.
