Don't dispair if you are an active collector you have undoubtadly noted the popularity and secondary prices soar
of Bose knives over the year especially

I dont think Ebay is the most accurate indicator

Savvy collectors know what a piece should bring and always leave a little room if they need to bail on an aquistion
Ebay remains a game of sorts not unlike online poker..and now that bidders identities are hidden far easier to spike bids and yield higher prices/comissions.
The relative rarity of Bose knives on ebay combined with the hot market generated that high end bid..

Yes collections just got more valuale, yes it may make some of us think twice before cutting..and the initial fallout will be some crazy asking prices but they will settle down some..I frickin hope

The case of Fisk is a bit different Jerry is now charging the prices his pieces command on the secondary market..

And Jess isnt making hardly anything

what I hope happens is that this auction draws out a few more sellers

Enjoy that Napanoch WT and in suit I'll drop my Ivory BP
in my pocket and hope I run into a rare steak that needs eating
This passion is about Pleasure People and the incredible Talent of Tony and Resse
