The frenzy seems to be over for now. Tune in Thursday night ten minutes before closing. I know I will be watching.

Yep...bring the popcorn and a soda. Should be interesting.

Although, it could go either way. I sold a dandy Penn RR piece on Ebay starting at $550 and was shocked when it went for over 3k. Put it up for 10 days and the bidding was over by day 7.

Its over and all I can say is WOW. Tony would be shocked and amazed to hear the price those went for.

Lets see what else pops up now on ebay and wait to you see what the dealers start charging. Going to be sick. JT

Yeah, the Lanny sure did take a nice jump there at the end. Someone sure scored an amazing knife.

This kind of activity does nothing but make Bose knives more valuable. Amazing final price!

And harder to buy on the secondary market unless you have tons of cash to throw around. Not sure which way I like better.

Even with a nice little collection in the drawer price spikes always make me melancholy. The knives become harder to come by for some of us and it gets harder to turn them into users — and these are meant to be used IMO. The same thing happened — for me — with Horn, Fisk, Onion. All great users until the prices make you wince. Just my .02.

Made short work of a box with my Napanoch WT this morning....

Oh yea...for sure the spiking prices only make you feel good when you already own them.
