Quite true - but it's also advertising of a sort (not that you're exactly hurting for recognition these days ) - and a confirmation of your belief in the quality and integrity of your own work.

Ha! Tony, yours and Reese's work has done that to a lot of us here.

More than simply the thought that a maker *should* carry his own work, that it should mean that much to him - and possibly make him a better maker for experiencing his own work over time and use -- there is always the thought, in my mind anyway, that if the maker cannot make himself his own "dream knife" (or at least one he really enjoys carrying and using) - then how could he possibly make such a knife for *me*?
