Since there's all these great photos on this forum I thought I'd add mine.

Tony, you probably don't remember but I met you at the Case Celebration in TN a couple of years ago. You showed me your ivory EDC at the time and your proto cotton sampler a full year before Case made it! My wife and I watched you assemble a lockback whittler in front of us and that was really the highlight for us of the entire day. Well, I have pics from that event if anyone is interested. You can see them at:

It was after that event back in the summer of 2005 I made it a point to get a knife from you and Reese. Well about a year later I was able to say that I met my goal. I unfortunately had to sell both to finance some household improvements but thankfully I took lots of pictures before I sold them. I think they both went to folks in Japan.

Enjoy!

This obviously a large Remington Bullet Trapper. This was a big knife!

I think it's hard to tell but this trapper by Tony was really large too. I hope to get another Bose knife down the road but next time I want something smaller!

Very nice knives you had. The "trapper" looks an awful lot like a Saddlehorn though

I probably have 20+ Case small saddlehorns. Definitely a goof, though any knife with a clip and spey blade is a trapper in my mind

Here's the link to the Celebration pics
http://www.mchenryknives.com/collection/2005celebration.html

You had the "2005" and "celebration" swapped.

I have never heard anyone call a Saddlehorn a trapper before. Learned something there.

Sorry man...If I were a betting man I'd say that Saddle is late 80s, Early 90's...The bone is killer and has shallow flutes...I would have stopped that from going to Japan, given the chance, and given it to you for your Birthday!
