Lucille's Friday update. Last Sunday the Dr researched two medications Lucille was taking: Venalaxfine (hot flashes) and Rantadine (for stomach). He stopped those two drugs stating, "praying that she gets better". He noticed the side effects could be causing rigidity and so many more side effects that he realized they were not good for her now or ever. We really have not seen her back to where she was 2 weeks ago.
Then 2 days ago she got a really bad cough. She was coughing up a lot of flem and had a fever. So yesterday they did a chest X-ray. We were praying that she did not have pneumonia. We got good news she did not. Her fever broke and was back to normal. All day yesterday my daughter Terry was giving her DoTerra oils: Lemon, Peppermint, Melaluca and Oregano (To break up the congestion). She also had her breathe deep into her lungs the oil Breathe which opens the airways. That seemed to really help her, you could a huge improvement from the day before.
On Monday son AJ and daughter Terry were doing oral care and saw a tooth looked infected. I had my dentist come to the hospital and look at it! He said there was just a chemical reaction to some of the mouth wash but her teeth looked great for what she has been through.
Please continue to pray for my Lucille's recovery, health and healing. I know we have great prayer warriors as forum brothers and we feel the love and support. Our 35th wedding anniversary is September 4th and I'm praying we both make it to our 40th. God bless.
