That's a nice improvement...almost a SwayBack BackPocket

JpN...at 3 5/8inch it still would have to grow a bit to be a Backpocket version...wouldn't it. A 4.5inch swayback...hmmmm...now that would be one big swayback.

KD...I am glad Tony chimed in because I was still confused after you linked to the smaller swayback. I knew he made the smaller one and I had seen 3.5inch swaybacks from Tony before. A 3.5inch stag one was in the drawing a couple years ago at Bladeshow. So I just figured this 3 5/8 was that pattern (give or take an 1/8th). That is why I wondering about the "prototype" stamp on this one. But now that Tony said he fully re-patterned it and it is slightly bigger...I understand.

Thanks...JT

A single BP swayback like that with a big wharncliffe would work out nicely!

That's a really sharp knife. I love the warncliffe blade. Some swaybacks don't seem to fit my pocket well since near the bolster side sometimes they have sharp edges. I like the rounded bolster.

It's going to be a couple weeks or a bit longer before we hear any details about the auctioning of this knife. We'll put something here as soon as it is known.

Thanks for all the great comments on this. It does take a little work to shoot these things and get them worked over to post so we appreciate the warm fuzzies.
