I does seem a shame to add anything to a cool wooden handle. just my opinion. I am old school, however, I use a GPS with Google world. Just saying. Something like this may warrant a cool initial plate for your name or initials. could be placed on the end of handle. it does cover up some of the wood.

For all of my past Randall user models, every one had a wrist thong. Whether it be needing to use both hands and not wanting to drop the knife in an elk cavity, or gutting fish with my #8. Between slippery blood or slippery fish, the wrist thong is very important to me.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the WT option. If we have only one option left, then I'd like to see:

standard handle shape
wrist thong
(deep sixing the compass option)

I am OK with either a Border Patrol or Standard shaped handle. But I would like a butt plate to protect the wood and give it a little "Dazzle".

I've been thinking(which can be very dangerous)as some here will testify.If we go with standard handle shape.That leaves us open to
adding either a wrist thong or butt plate or butt cap or finger grips or single finger grip or compass.Does this sound correct.
I'm through thinking now!!!

Or, add a crows beak and get a shaped 22 handle as an included no charge option.
