Here is a Reese Bose Machete in D-2, Brazilian Rosewood Handle. It’s been spring tempered (56-57) to flex and still keeps a great edge. A double scan (sorry about the line), it was way longer than the scanner bed.

Hey John Killer Knife (is there anything a Bose can't do) what is the Blade length on that pup..we are often down in Tobago..where Machetes are the tool of choice for just about every task That'd be the one to have strapped across the back hiking through the rain forest
That sounds like Fun. Lets go Blade length is 13" and Handle is 5 1/2". This blade pre-dates Reese's Huge Bowie. The blade is very thin and would be perfect for light brush, sugar cane...In fact I let my 9 year old go to town on some light brush with it...bushes never knew what hit them.
Very cool..funny story about Reese and the Machete..He once cut himself in the leg (BAD) trying to blaze a trail through the wilfred rainforest..hehehehe..Its a wonder we survived our young teen years..hmm..guess its not that funny..but we laugh about it.
