I like almost anything Spalted!
Not having a handle shape on figured wood is a missed opportunity in my book!

What handle shapes are available on this model that won't cost a option?

I am with Chief on this. If wood is selected we should have it shaped... like Border Patrol or possibly finger grips, though BP would be more "universal".

Okay, so I figure this is the impossible dream but ..... Would the shop possibly be willing to make an exception to the 5 option limit for a club build knife? It definitely would add some "pop" to these builds with the winner getting something really special. I realize the shop is super busy but maybe they could put an annual limit on the number of knives they would allow under this exception so it's not too much of a burden. They could also put a special stamp on the blade (maybe "RKCC" or just a "C" for club)for identification purposes. Not at all intended as a criticism of the current limit since I know it's there for a very good reason.

This is not exactly a club build..
More a forum build. The last club build was the pine cone fiasco of 2015... and that was held to 5 options.

Great idea though... i would be completely behind that!

I was thinking these builds were limited to club members but I believe you're right about it not being limited that way. Even so, maybe there's a chance. Even one in a million is a chance right? ;-)

I agree!!!! Would put a little extra spin on being a club member. "But" could also get out of hand quick... as many other special exceptions of the past did.

5 Option limit. We could of chose a different Model(Special) if we wanted more than 5 options. Eric

Let's not forget about a 22 style handle. You get a lot of extra's with that one option. And if we did chose wood, it's a nice shape to show off the grain. Thoughts and comments?

I take that back.... maybe a 22 style handle would look pretty good on this knife..."BUSY" but good. That could also free us up 2 use Aluminum spacers if desired.

You're still my favorite Warren, Warren!
