Sawteeth

Here in Idaho, it is not uncommon at all to hitch a ride on a back country plane, plus I have 2 buddies that have their own plane and I fly with them on occasion. I used to have an 18 with all my survival stuff in it, but a grandson got it. I now take a Combat Companion with ST when I go on those trips.

The current vote count on the "sawteeth" vs. "ST/NST grind" proposition is 14-9 in favor of sawteeth.

NOTE: We had three posters who commented on the perceived utility (or lack thereof) of sawteeth, but who did not expressly cast a vote (see further notes below). I did NOT count these comments in the vote totals.

-NOTE: Warren Polidori posted comments against the utility of sawteeth and in support of the utility of a ST/NST gring, but did not expressly cast a vote for ST/NST (his comments were not counted as a vote).

I thought I mentioned early in the voting for Stainless steel and "B" ST/NST Grind.

It would appear that you need to mention this is in a more clear manner... perhaps utilize BOLD and strongly consider italics

Capt. did also call for another vote after that and your vote was not rolled over to the new vote process/tally.

Warren, sorry for the oversight, but I just counted the votes cast after Capt. called for the specific vote on ST vs. ST/NST question. I will add your vote to that total.

To recap, to date we have voted in favor of:
-building a single knife (as opposed to building a pair of knives).
-Randall Model #5.
-6" blade length.
-stainless steel.
-non-traditional grind (ST or ST/NST as opposed to a traditional M#5 grind).
