The fine-tooth sawteeth have worked well for me on making small precise cuts in snare triggers, etc.

More of a small tool for precision cuts vs using the knife/sawteeth to cut a firing lane in the woods for hunting.

I carry more than one knife when I walk in the woods as well as other equipment for the tasks I wish to do. I am not much of a Robinson Crusoe type guy.
