Am I too late?
I'd like to see a 5" model 11, or a Stanaback special... no option limit on specials!

I like the idea of a #19 with Thuya burl. It would probably have some real heft to it.

If we're going with a fighter however, how about a Model #16 SP1 Special Fighter (love the full tang)?
Maybe we could see if a non-Micarta handle is do-able? How does Thuya burl with 4 finger grip and lanyard hole grab you?
And if we're not concerned with sharpening the top edge, how about a sawteeth/no teeth option for a spear point profile?

Just a thought...

Bob,

Nothing mentioned, with the exception of the 4 finger grip and full tang is available on a #16-7"-Special Fighter. Sorry!
Best, Capt. Chris
PS: Wood, on any full, exposed tang knife is not available also...CCS

Crew,
How's "THIS" for an idea: "BOTH" a #19-5" and a #23-4 1/2"?
Just sayin', Capt. Chris
PS: Who says our Red-Hot-Summertime build has to be just one knife?
PPS: "OR"- A matching pair of Stanaback Specials, 4" & 4 5/8"...curiouser and curiouser...Hmmmmm
