I would crawl on my knees arms extended holding a bucket of water in each filled to the brim and I would not spill a single drop if it meant I got to go home with a knife that Beautiful.
Glorious!

I looked this knife over and I have noticed something that I never noticed before on the blade(s)..the nail nick. I went threw some past pictures and I have noticed its angle of the nick varies from knife to knife. Granted these are hand made knives and there are never the same. But…….On some Cotton Samplers the nick is parallel with the swedge and others it is with the top of the blade. When it’s like this it kinda throws me off. For me having the nick parallel with the swedge really looks great.

Here is past examples of both side by side

Any other opinions?

I love it its clean and lined up in the closed position
it carries the gentle curve of the handle..
Gorgeous knife

ahh I posted before you posted the side by side
I see what you mean I think though in this case the swedge being in the shadow makes that angled nick more pronounced
its such a ducky pattern that either way opened or closed it'll look a bit off keel...
makes it tough on a collector who now get one both ways lol!

note how Tony and Reese differ on the plunge too

The background tile effects the overall color of the image. Here is the same knife and images I shot at the same time with a dark brown leather background. Same light, same time of day, whooooole different feel. a dominant color changes the overall color of the reflections in the light box, kinda like sunsets change the color of everything in the landscape.

Anyone else notice the difference in the way the ricasso is ground(step grind) on the latest knife versus the other 2. That is an improvement in the overall appeal of that blade. It's kinda sexy eh
