This one-of-a-kind knife was started by Reese in 2000. He looked for two years after he made the blade to find matching pieces of stag that were just right for this knife. The stag is gorgeous presentation grade and came
from 2 different sources, yet, is an impressive matching set.

Reese takes this knife with him when he rides his horse. He told me he used it just this last weekend to cut his horse loose from some vines he got wrapped up in.

The Blade is flat ground A2. Blade length is 14", Thickness is 1/4", Width is 2". The guard is also A2, 1/4" thick. Handle is 5" and the tang is hidden(mortised).

I remember seeing and handling this one at Blade a few years ago. Its a beauty. Reese said it was as big a blade as he could fit in the heat treating oven.

Hey Fasteddie....Reese said he had to make the tang shorter than he would have liked just so it would fit in the oven. You can tell the length of the tang by the pin positions. Still plenty long and thick enough to be way strong.
