Great looking knife. IMO you cannot go wrong with a knife from Bret. Great fit and finish.
I have one of his knives on me most days.

Doug
I don't intend to hijack your thread, but........
This is my EDC, except when I am flying. I only take a SAK and a Leatherman when I fly. NOT on my person.

Nice collection Rod.....so, you're the reason for his waiting list.....ha, ha.
Credit for my photos directly to Bret Dowell....he has always sent me photos of completed knives to confirm whether I approve prior to purchase.....of course, never have any issues with his work. Not only does he make excellent knives, but his photography is top notch.
I did put my name on the list again.....I believe I'm going to get one of his fixed blades next.

Peter I asked Bret for a knife in Ironwood. He said there was a shortage as some guy in Utah was buying up all the Ironwood!
Doug I do have one of Bret's fixed blades as well. If I recall it is the last knife featured/picture on his fixed blade website page.

Guys, Really nice pocket knives. The bolsters and shields do it for me. Someday maybe I'll start collecting a few folders. Thank you for sharing your collection.

Here is the latest Bret Dowell Folder I purchased. I bought the FI at Blade this year and sent it to Bret.
I think I own 14 or 15 of Bret's knives and the workmanship is second to none, IMO.

Peter, Tom Thank you for the comments. I really like the knife, although it will likely live in the safe.
Steve I had intended to post some Model 5 pics on the CW thread. I have not taken the time. Too many irons in the fire!

Thank you Warren. Yeah I am a bit of a Dowell fan. Just wished others would not have discovered him, as his prices are getting higher!! Great knives to say the least.
