I see the box now but can't make out the detail. Sharp Stuff was TC's business name, this knife was once part of his collection.

The old tire swing, the pathway with grass in the middle, the split rail fence, reminds me of a Jim Harrison print. Mr Harrison is probably most famous for his coca cola themed work, but this setting was right up his alley too, it wouldn't suprise me to find out the scrimshander used a Harrison painting for his inspiration.

Yup, that figures. If I see you at BLADE next year, please keep that hidden from my wife. She's the Coca cola nut.

She's had this for 20 years, it's in the kitchen, unrestored, works as good as ever.

Not to change the subject but Mr. Tom sold me knives back in the old days by sending me the knife....if I wanted it send him the money. If not send the knife back. I'm sure he did others that way but man I just can't see doing business that way. He was a wealth of knowledge and just a right out good fellow. This summer was my first trip to the Blade since he passed and I sure missed seeing him.

Ronnie,
That was a great method that Tom Clinton had.
I don't know of anyone who sent a knife back to him.
When I first started collecting Randalls, I met Tim Cameron at the PKA Show in Denver. Tim would have a table with Randalls all laid out. When he handed you one to look at, he would reorganize the knives so that you couldn't lay it back down. Tim learned from the best - Tom Clinton.

Ha David I know Tim and I here what you say. Wish I could do that in the Insurance business. There have been some great people in this Randall Knife business.

There was a discussion years ago and, as I remember, Rick Bowles admitted he would be peeking out the door with an Atlanta Braves cap on his head. I sure can't make out that much detail.
