This Classic Cokebottle in Ivory was inspired by another knife that Tony has, made by the Challenge Cutlery Company in the 1880's. That particular knife is etched "Daniel Boone" and is pictured with Tony's knife.

Tony's knife is 5 3/8" long closed. The blade is MASSIVE and 5/32" thick, made from ATS-34, has double pulls and a hand rubbed finish. The handle is finished to 4000 grit.

My favorite picture is the 4th one down. Now...this is a big knife and it is so perfectly made that it balanced on the edge of the blade. You can see the stuff on Tony's bench blurry in the background and the reflection of the cocobolo wood(in the shield and bolsters)that the knife is sitting on.

Amazing workmanship there, you would almost bet it had
been polished but that is all hand sanded down to a mirror
like finish, which, provides a bit more control than a
high speed buffing wheel which can also remove material
just when you would rather it didn't!
Thanks for sharing the images, good work on that too!

WOW is all I can say I think the one I have on order is only 4 or 5 years out except mine will have a D-2 dlade. Great looking knife, looking at the pictures just makes the wait that much harder but well worth it in the end.

You have to appreciate this pattern and what it was all about. And must appreciate the old factories, and the hafter’s that worked under much harsher conditions to create these bueaties. What a joy it would have been to be around these factories then. Here is an example of an original NYK coke bottle…it was made to carry…and had the privilege to be used for what it was made for.
