I havn't handled any of his work but know that he is a member and regular contributor on British Blades forum.I have seen a couple of his friction folders and they look to be well made and functional,almost 'tribal' very cool.

I know Owen and can tell you he is a top UK maker, his damascus work is outstanding. You wouldn't go far wrong with his work.

Also as an aside he was part of the original UK Scrapheap Challenge TV programme technical team.
