Peter_Kaufman Knife Enthusiast Registered: 02/14/08 Posts: 2604 Loc: Southeast Utah	I do some canyoneering that requires that you are able to rappel to get down some pouroffs in various canyons in the area and there are other places where the only way down is using a rope. Some of my friends have become interested in learning so we went to the end of a canyon where there is a fixed anchor and an easy hike to the top. Once we set the rope and got on our gear we did the 80 ft rappel three times to give my friend some good practice. Regardless, we had a super adventure where we went out to a remote area to watch the sun set and the moon rise.
