That's what I call it anyway

Tony made the blade by tracing an old KBAR(if I remember right) Trapper. It is made from CPM 440V(S60V) and is 7 3/8" long. He handed me the blade one night after I fixed his virus riddled computer and said, "Here ya go! Put a handle on that thing". I thought I would surprise Tony and finish it out to look like it was a folder with brass liners and nickel/silver bolsters. Reese told me with a big grin this weekend, "Don't try to do something thinking it's new 'cause he's(dad has)probably already done it". Gotta love that.

Some background info is needed here. I had nervously called Tony a few weeks earlier after I found his and Reese's names in the back of a "Best Knives of 2006" book. I "Googled" Tony Bose and I was shocked to find out who he was and that he lived less than 10 miles from me. I asked Tony if he would allow me to hang out with him so I could learn some knifemaking skills. After talking with him on the phone for a half hour or so he asked me what I did for a living. I told him I worked with computer systems and he asked, "Can you fix mine?". Long story short...I fixed it and I am learning lots of new things and my poor wife is fast becoming what Tony calls a "Knifemakers Widow" (I'll make it up to ya honey)

Almost forgot...I made the sheath too. Thanks, Reese, for putting my initials on the back.

Here is the one of a kind T.Bose/K.Hampton Collaboration Fixed Trapper

Very nice Kerry! I like the knife a lot and a very cool story about how you met up with Tony and Reese.
