Looks like 13-2 in favor of micarta. I'm going to suggest that we do "not" use my bone linen. I don't care what we build, "BUT" (I know...) the shop charges (per handle) to install CW will bring this "starter" into the realm of a collector's grade set. I'll make it, if that's what you folks would like, but black micarta, maroon micarta, green linen micarta, ivorite and red/blue laminated micarta are all available from the shop...just sayin'.
So....Next "talk topic" should be: "What" color or type of micarta. Perhaps we should have a "top 3" with your reasons for your choices. That should give us all a lot to think about and consider before we thin the herd. Let's hear from ya'!

Since you can't get the Chefs knife any other way,I like black micarta to match.It would make a nice kitchen set

Maroon for me as I don't much in that color.

I wanted to put Ivorite as my top three three times, but I'll play by the rules and give a top three that are all different. I like Ivorite because it looks classy, and I'm too cheap to go for real Ivory.
