You know, I have tried 3 different times to register on glocktalk.com and I always get to the "human" question and it won't let me move the football helmets into the brackets. I have written them 3 different time regarding this and have not heard back from them. Very frustrating. I hope Glocks don't work the same way as this web site. I'll keep trying to register, but after a point, I'm going to another site. Thanks again for everyone responding.

I just bought two of the 33 round mags. I also bought a loader and both work very well. Midway had both items on sale. After shooting two full mags it leaves a little sore place on the knuckle of my BHO finger.

Went to the gun show yesterday and sold my 10 year old Mod. 27 and bought a new one. The guy that I bought from has two gun shops and he said it was getting hard to get a Glock with night sights sights anymore. Said he was not sure of the reason ,but they order them and they never come. Another friend of mine who has a shop has 82 Kimbers on order and he can't seem to get any of them in. He said that when he gets some in he usually has them sold before he can put them on display. I saw very few Kimbers at the show and most of those were used. The Glock that I bought had night sights and was the only one I saw at the show which was quite large. Has anyone looked at the Randall 45 on Gunbroker? He wants so much for it that you could never get you money back if you decided that you wanted to sell it.

I never worry about the sights already on a Glock I'm looking to buy. I'm going to change them anyway to what I like, so I prefer it if they have standard plastic Glock sights. I put Warren Tactical Night Sights on my Glocks.

Before today, I had not shot a Glock in maybe 15 years. I bought a SIG P228 in 1991 and never looked back. However, earlier today I had a chance to try a Glock 22 .40 cal. side by side with the SIG P226 .40 cal. that I acquired last year.

Frankly, I was not impressed by the Glock. It felt slippery in my hand, it failed to feed twice in less than 10 rounds, and it was generally harder to shoot accurately. Furthermore, I am not really a fan of the .40 caliber round. Until today, I didn't really like my SIG in this caliber. That was before I tried the Glock. Now I finally like this SIG!

Sorry guys. Maybe the Glock in 9mm would be better?

David,
The Sig is a fine firearm and points better than the Glock. When
Glock came out with the Gen4 they made a great improvement over
previous glocks. You actually get in it ,like a Sig and 1911 as
oppose to getting on it.of the 8 Sigs I own I like the 228 for carryand the 226 for IDPA.Glock is good pistol I still have a Glock 36 I carry from time to time...

I shoot a bunch of different guns and cals. I've shot a Glock 22 with a drop-in .357 Sig for 15+ (?) years and a .45 P-12 Para Ord. for almost exactly same amount of years (always tried to celebrate a new son/daughters' birth with commemorative handgun & knife---helps you remember when all 3 arrived). Have never had even 1 jam, misfire, etc. with either and both will shoot better than I can take credit for. Also hand load all my rounds for every gun I own(except scatterguns) and am willing to bet this makes a difference. Anyway, trust my Glock and my P-12 completely and don't own a Sig, but they look sweet!

David I can't understand why you had two hangups with your Glock. I have shot over a 1000 rounds through my Glocks(4) and have never had a problem. I make sure never to shoot any Russian ammo though.

David,

The only time I've heard of Glock .40's failing to feed is when a tactical light is attached to the rail on it.

What brand and bullet weight were you shooting?
