Well, technically; it only needs six (6) drops of lube, and a 3/32 pin punch (or The Glock Tool) to disassemble. I was a Glock Armorer, but let my Certification lapse. The Glock is one of the best pistol designs.

I wouldn't change the connector until you have a chance to get used to the factory trigger first. Be careful with the Ghost Rocket connector, it needs some fitting.

And what did that run ya? Sucks you gotta take a grinder to your pistol so it doesn't feel like a 2x4. Get an M&P and it is good to go for out of the box.

It was a free job. A hook up from a buddy. They can run pretty expensive depending on who does the work though. Bowie Tactical being one of them.

I need to give the M&P platform a try. A lot of guys a running them these days.

You may want to rethink that. It is well documented that Gen 4 Glocks have had a myriad of problems. I have no personal experience, but from what I have been reading, the issues are not yet 100% resolved.

There are several forums and websites that outline some of the stuff with various manufacturers stuff. Might be worth a 'search' prior to investing in one. If you must have a Glock for some reason, a Gen 3 would probably be a better choice at this juncture.

The new Gen 3's have the same problems too.

Make sure the extractor and ejector is the newer one in it, whichever Gen you get.

Too late, I already have my Model 34 Gen 4, in hand. Just haven't had an opportunity to shoot it yet. Too damn busy at work, plus a 2 day training class, putting a new pool in the back yard, and I can't play golf either!!!!!!
