I am thinking of "pulling the trigger" on a 9mm Glock. Don't know the model number but it would be the one with the largest mag capacity, like 17-18 I think. Anyway, if you have any experience good or bad with the Glock, let me know. Thanks-

Pap

I have a 9mm model #26...... it's the compact version. It's a 10+1 capacity. It lives in the console of my car.

It has never failed to go bang...... great little gun.

I think the 17 is the full size version. It's 17+1.

Pap,

I have the model G19 compact with Lasermax, nothing but good things to say. I also have a model G27 subcompact .40, ditto the positive comments. Just my .02 cents worth.

The model 17 Glock has the highest 9mm capacity at 17 rounds without an extended magazine.

Hi Pap
the model 17 is the full size and the model 19 is the next size down. You can use the longer magazines in the model 19 and there are 33 round magazines that fit in all of the 9mm Glocks if you are in need of some extra capacity. They stick out a bit for concealed carry however smile
Look at both the 17 and 19
The 9 mm Glocks all run great, there have been some issues with the other calibers

Does anyone have experience with the model #34, the 9mm Target model?

I have a G35, 40 S&W, it's the same size as the G34. It's great as a tactical gun, but a little too big for concealed carry, IMO. If you are looking for a concealable Glock then the G19 or G26 are your best choices. I have a G17, full size and a G19c, the G19c means it's compensated, with factory nights sites. It's a 2.5 generation from 1999, night sites are still bright enough to see in the dark. I like shooting the 19c over the 17, but that's just me, others like the 17. I also own a G30 and used to own a G36. I prefer the G30, the G36 was a little too small for my hands. The G30/36 are .45 caliber.

I'm not looking for a concealable, more for just a "normal" carry and home defense. Also might target shoot with some friends, so am looking at the G34 as a possibility.
