Since the late 1980's I have been hunting with Black Powder Cartridge Rifles. Rolling Blocks,Remington Hepburns, Winchester 1885's. Hunting in deer stands I use a 38-40,44-40. Hunting out west I use a 45-70,45-90,50-110. The longest shoot has been at 200 yards. I use black powder and flat base cast lead bullets. Shoot placement is the key for putting meat on the table.
