When I got my TC-Encore, the trigger sucked also. I sent it to Mike Bellm for a trigger job and the difference is unbelievable. He also did a "hammer" job as when I added the thimb extension, it added too much weight to the hammer and about half the time, it wouldn't hit the firing pin hard enough to fire the cartridge. Certainly not a good thing when taking a shot on a critter. After the workover, I have a 3 lb trigger pull and no more miss-fires due to a weak hammer spring. Again, if you are a TC fan, this fellow is the best.
