121.5 below zero??? Yipes!!!!

I haven't heard of Corn Huskers lotion for a long time. I wonder if it is still made.

One of my in laws was stationed up at Whitehorse,YT and was transferred down to Dawson Creek(?) and the trip was about 600 miles. It was 1954 and they used coal oil for motor oil being the temps were -50. No synthetic oils back then.

Common practice back then was to pack some copper chain and if you broke down, you threw the chain over the telegraph wires to short them out. The repair crew knew about where the short was and sent out a rescue party.

I won't complain when it gets near zero here after hearing the above stories.
