Great to report this news! This comes, via Dano, but is directly from Gail..who spent the whole day with Scott.
"We are still in transition from IV to oral medication. Made it through ok!". She goes on to say: "We saw each other for the first real time today and he gave me a smile."
Scott's breathing was way too fast a few times and had to have a "push" of sedation to slow it down. The lungs, on CPap, are being "worked" in her words.
* 40% oxygen
* 12 pressure support
* 98 saturation
Scott is running a low grade fever @ 99 & blood pressure is higher than desired but it is better than it was this morning.
Scott's Dr. came in and told him (Scott) that he was happy with his progress and his only job was "stay relaxed and breathe".
Here's the best for last part: The Doctor told Scott he was doing great and "will go home"! Gail's words: "I Say AMEN To That Report">
I couldn't agree more, Capt. Chris
