Reading about how Germany caught the outbreak in Bavaria very early and tracked contact-by-contact by individuals in a company.

Lady from China brought it in, had no symptoms other than what she thought was jet lag, held the workshop, flew home and became obviously ill and called back to let them know.

Workers at the plant passed it by simple things like passing a salt shaker.

Masks probably would have helped in that hand-off, even though the two were face-to-face very briefly, and only breathing and not coughing or sneezing.

Officials are not sharing that if you walk into a cloud of "stuff" in the air, it easily gets into the eyes and gets breathed in.

Seems it was too much of an overreach to tell the public to wear masks (something is better than nothing) and eye protection. Even though China mandated masks as part of its control program.

Our politicians and health officials have been very "soft" about telling people what they should do or have to do. Guess they think we are practical and will do what is best, yet many are defying the guidelines they have come up with.
