Just a thought about this issue, since most of us are over 40. I bought my first Randall when I was 23, and the price was $25, which was nearly a weeks work at the gas station I was working. That was a Model 1-6 with a stag handle, that's it. So my point is, maybe we should have a special entry level, standard Randall model for an entry level person for a slightly discounted price. Back when I first ordered my Randall, there were very few other custom made knife makers around. Now, there are hundreds. Any other thoughts out there?
