Coach,

Funny you brought this topic up.
Yesterday was my 40th anniversary starting life in a real job after college. I had 4 years of drafting in HS and studied ME in college. When I started my "first " career at Grumman Aerospace 6/18/79, the horse was out of the barn.
Funny how technology and life changed along with my personal career choices. Back in 1979 CAD was just starting to happen.
Today, everything is 3D modeling and printing is just starting to make a really bold impact on manufacturing.
So, yes I still have my ink pens which are all dried out, my protractor, circle templates and God knows what else. All are dinosaurs and so am I but manufacturing will always ring my bell. My career now is helping customers make duds into studs.
The phone still rings "Help" ChaChing. I'll keep doing it as long as it's still fun.
