I have always thought these rehandled Ka-Bars had a special meaning to their original owners. The pacific arena was tough on the leather sheaths and handles. Whether a lunch box special or WWII survivor it is obviously a knife somebody used and more than likely cherished.

Lofty, I have owned quite a few unique WWII knives. I will post some of these for your viewing when I get home tomorrow. What issued knife from the US Military would you like to see the most?
