Eric, I've watched your auctions for these MIL-K 818 knives with a great intwrest, quite a collection, and a phenomenal price for the '49! Since you're clearly in the top of your field on these, perhaps you could answer a question. I have a few, maybe,10 of these knives. I've noticed one of my Imperials appears to be a 1969, with the second "9" clearly stamped over a "7". Have you seen one before? Perhaps, something of an oddity, or common,as they say?
