I will agree with you on that Marlin,but before you put down your hard earned money on it,check it out carefully.

Since Remington took over Marlin a couple of years ago,some things have changed and not for the better.

A month ago I contacted them to take my old Marlin 336/35 Remington in for repair. They first said that the serial number I supplied them did not exist. I double checked and sent it (the number) back to them again and their reply was "we no longer service that gun". A Marlin 336 that is still being made???

So,I have a feeling that things might not be the same with Marlin.
