This morning I took delivery of a Model 15 that I ordered from the Captain. I first saw this knife when I was perusing this thread and saw the one posted by forum member "cut it out".

I really like the way his was set up, so I ordered only exactly like it, with the exception that mine has the green micarta BP style handle and a tan sheath. In addition to the green miacarta, it has a carbon steel blade, thumb notches and a brass single hilt.

I love the feel of the BP handle on this knife. Compared to my other Model 15 with the CDT leather stacked handle, this one is much more butt heavy in the hand. Having given away my Model 5-5 and both my Model 14 & 16, this knife will be my main "Outback" blade.

I dare say, that if I had to chose one Randall out of my meager collection, this one would be it for me. I think the 5-1/2" blade it perfect for just about everything I would ask a knife to do for me. I can't wait to get it out into the field.....
