Many decades ago,I just had to have a Winchester 94 "thuuty-thutty" just like on the TV westerns.
If I was smart,I would have purchased a Marlin 336 Texan in 35 Remingotn. Nothing wrong with the '94 but the Marlin is so much better and easier for take down and maintainance.

I had a 35 Remington bbl for my T/C and was totally satisified with it. 16 inches with shoulder stock. Another bbl I had for the T/C was one in 444 Marlin,16 inch bbl. Trust me,touch that off in the light weight T/C and you really know that the bull did it in the buckwheat.

One of my bucket list trips is to take my lightweight canoe and paddle the Everglades. On my hip will be my Taurus Public Defender in 410/45 LC.

For those of you that don't know me,around me,things tend to "occur".

Also much better for scope mounting too.
