late 70's to early 80's. Maroon micarta, thick center spacer. My guess is the blade started life as a model 5. I do not think the thong hole was done by the shop. It would have been lined when this knife was made as Mitchel's is. Possible one slipped through, but with a "custom" blade like that, I believe everything else would have been made to current specs.

Note that Burnie's is an Orlando blade whereas Tune's and the Crider catalog knife are Solingen.
