Bob pretty much wrote the book on D2, considered by most as entirely unsuited to knives until Bob did his thing.

He does no magic to it, neither does his step-son Dan who runs that shop and grinds every knife himself. It is simply precision not approached by most, where the knives from that shop will test within a few tenths of 60.5 Rc every time.

As a matter of fact, each batch of steel is tested for response, and is not used if it does not hit that mark.

Yessir, that knife will cut.
