OK Crew,
Here's what we are building so far:
* RMK Model #15-5 1/2"
* CDT (cut down tang)
* Top edge is sharp
* Thumb notches
* Nickel silver single hilt
* Squared top hilt design (old school)
* Standard RMK shop-supplied spacers
This will be a very beefy camp knife of 1/4" stock and ,depending upon how we build the handle, it can be full tang...or not! Quite an impressive knife...so far. The spacers will be your choice of:
* Red, white & blue
* All black
* All red
This will be determined as we decide what handle/color we use. Let's discuss the handle, it's shape and whether we are building it with...or without a butt cap. Any cut down knife that the Randall shop makes, with a butt cap, will be full tang. This is something to think about for your handle choices, which are many.
