I am speaking of a "Combat Companion" not a "CC/FT". A "standard Combat Companion comes carbon steel with a leather handle. You can "build" just as much as with the Model #1. The "full ("exposed tang") version, like the #28 is quite limited. It is "also" 3/16" stock, verses the standard which is 1/4".
